Nyx watched, head tilted and ears perking up slightly as Hex struck the man. As security came around the corner, he made a point of standing near Hex.

"He tried to take me. Tried to strike me," he told them, pointing at his former client.

"And that psycho bit me!" the man snapped in return.

"Self defense," Nyx said, voice low and rumbling softly. "You were restraining me."
