House shook two pills out of the bottle, swallowed them dry, and then tossed the bottle into the drawer along with the bottle of lube.
He briefly considered joining Nyx in the shower, but worried that might be… too much.
He almost felt as nervous now as he had at the start of all this. Fuck.
He lay back against the pillows and looked up at the ceiling.
