Season Finale
It was a partly closed set today, only a few crew and actors who needed to be there. Spoilers, right?
Nyx was reviewing the changes to the script, perched on a chair off to the side of the cameras. He'd seen Hex, had seen House hanging around as well, though he was in his own little world as he turned the page and reviewed the highlighted parts. However, he did glance up when he noticed one of them heading his way.

This time Nyx played it a bit more quiet- Fragile, even. Jett was always so confident, cocky even, but this time he pulled that back, offering something a bit more raw. ...Maybe something a bit more honest and real. It was Jett, he never stopped being Jett, but there was something of himself in there too now. A fragility he tried to keep to himself that in the moment he decided to let out.
"I don't want to die," he said, his voice cracking slightly this time when he said the line.

Hex's face conveyed everything all at once. Pity, compassion, disgust, determination...
"You don't need to be afraid," he assured him, a certainty to his words that was a bit chilling.

When they finished the scene he said, “No notes. Are you ready to roll camera or do you want a moment?”

"I'm good," Nyx said, even though he wasn't sure that was true. He was in the zone now though, and he didn't want to lose it.

"Good," Hex nodded. "Let's do it."
He brushed Nyx's back one more time before they got to set and got to work.

They finished, and Nyx pushed his hair back out of his face again, looking a little shaken. He was a good actor, but he couldn't hide how all of this was starting to get to him, just a little.

"Do you need some time?" Hex asked quietly, only House close enough to possibly overhear him.

"I'm alright, I'm good... Just need water," Nyx assured them both. "Glad we got that."
no subject
"It was a good one," Hex agreed.
But when Nyx walked over to get water, he looked at House.
"This is wearing him out," he said plainly.

Hex nodded, aware of all that.
"You got eyes, too," he said. "He's putting on a good face, but i don't think he's fooling you any more than me."

"And you write the show so you could make his part go easier on him," Hex said, certain he didn't need to spell it out for House.

"That'd be a Thrones kind of twist that'd lose you your Emmy," he replied. "Also, the wildest possible extreme. I was thinking you could film his scenes one day a week, do the rest of the shooting schedule around it."

"Boss. So one day a week," he said, clearly protective of Nyx's time and care.
"No call before nine, either. Mornings are going slower," he confided.

Hex tilted his head.
"If you want to be hostile about it I can call SAG. I thought you cared about him the way he cares about you," Hex told him.
"...And I know he's not telling you the bad parts."

"Nah, I'm done," he replied with a casual shrug, clearly unbothered by House's reaction.
Hex could tell he was jealous, it was so fucking obvious, but House could pay his own therapist about that. All Hex cared about was Nyx.
