Season Finale
It was a partly closed set today, only a few crew and actors who needed to be there. Spoilers, right?
Nyx was reviewing the changes to the script, perched on a chair off to the side of the cameras. He'd seen Hex, had seen House hanging around as well, though he was in his own little world as he turned the page and reviewed the highlighted parts. However, he did glance up when he noticed one of them heading his way.

He'd seen Hex, had seen House hanging around as well, though he was in his own little world as he turned the page and reviewed the highlighted parts. However, he did glance up when he noticed one of them heading his way.

Hex tilted his head.
"If you want to be hostile about it I can call SAG. I thought you cared about him the way he cares about you," Hex told him.
"...And I know he's not telling you the bad parts."

"Nah, I'm done," he replied with a casual shrug, clearly unbothered by House's reaction.
Hex could tell he was jealous, it was so fucking obvious, but House could pay his own therapist about that. All Hex cared about was Nyx.

"Needed some sugar, I think," he admitted, noting the annoyed look on Greg's face. "You both alright?" he asked.
no subject
"Yeah," Hex smiled at him. "Are you ready to keep on or would you like to sit and drink that?"
It was strange to see how Hex treated Nyx so close on the heels of how Caleb treated Jett. The genuine care only highlighted how cracked Caleb was.

“As I said we’re done for the day,” he said.

"I'm fine, I'm good," Nyx assured Hex, not wanting to be fussed over at work. "Why don't we all get a meal?" he suggested, "I bet neither of you ate."
no subject
"That'd be boss," Hex nodded.
Then he looked to House.
"We haven't eaten, we'd love to," he said...told House.

He ignored Hex and looked at Nyx. “I was actually hoping that you might have some time today for a check in with Wilson. We had a conversation this morning, he has some thoughts about your treatment plan that I agree with.”
no subject
"Oh, um, we could do both?" Nyx suggested. "I do actually want to eat."
Which was rare, his appetite was all over the place still. He could feel the strange tension between the pair, but he really didn't know what to make of it.
no subject
"Invite him along," Hex suggested brightly. "What about that noodle place you like? We could eat and chat."
He picked the first place to come to mind when Nyx said he was hungry, the first place he knew Nyx would be tempted by the food.
no subject
He hesitated visibly and finally said, "Sure. Food first, and then you come with me, hmm?" He looked at Nyx.
no subject
"Noodles sound good," Nyx smiled, nodding at Hex. "And yeah, after I'll come and we can talk about my treatment," he agreed, turning to Greg.
no subject
Hex smoothed his hand down Nyx's back slowly.
"Would you rather talk about treatments with just them?" he asked.
"I can dip, see you after," he offered.
It was painfully obvious House wasn't comfortable being in an open relationship, and Hex thought it might be better for his career if he didn't rub the man's face in the fact Nyx loved as he pleased.

“We’re not having an oncology appointment over lunch,” he said. “Let’s go. You can dip after.”
no subject
"Sure, as long as you both stop being weird," Nyx said, pulling a bit of a face and finishing his coffee. "I want something decadent. Maybe not ramen. Oh! There's that place a few blocks over, the one that chef owns... I forgot the name already. They do the most amazing lobster. I want to eat well while I'm actually wanting to eat. Let's go there," he suggested.
no subject
"Bang on," Hex smiled and nodded enthusiastically.
"You got a car or should I call one?' he asked House.
no subject
no subject
"Nice day though, I'm fine walking," Nyx assured them both. "Or, I could call a cab..."
no subject
"Naaah, don't waste your money. Ride with House," Hex told him. "I'll start now, probably beat you there."
He flashed a smile, kissed Nyx on the cheek, then took a step away.
Maybe if they had a minute, House might feel a little more secure, he thought.

Nyx watched him go as well, still not sure what the strange vibe in the air was all about.
"Yeah, totally," Nyx nodded, offering Greg a smile. "Lead the way."

"Oh," Nyx said, looking a bit disappointed. "Um, I'm free except Thursdays. My appointments are always Thursday," he said quietly.
He put on the helmet, adjusting the strap.
"I could still be on set though, yeah? Just to be involved."
