Season Finale

It was a partly closed set today, only a few crew and actors who needed to be there. Spoilers, right?

Nyx was reviewing the changes to the script, perched on a chair off to the side of the cameras. He'd seen Hex, had seen House hanging around as well, though he was in his own little world as he turned the page and reviewed the highlighted parts. However, he did glance up when he noticed one of them heading his way.

House's summary of the movie made Hex smile, but basically my Tuesday brought out a deep, warm laugh.

"It's clinched," he said. "Sounds like the best way to end the day."

House was really trying, for Nyx’s benefit, to not be annoyed by everything about Hex, including how nice he was being. Maybe being high will help.

“Sounds like a plan,” he said.

Nyx nodded in agreement, so desperate for anything that felt normal in his life that he seemed to ignore any lingering discomfort between the pair.

A night with people he cared for, just relaxing and laughing, sounded like bliss.

The food was delicious and Hex was happy to see Nyx enjoying his food. In the end, there was nothing worth taking home and they carried on the conversation in the Uber back to Nyx's flat. Hex brought up the rear, knowing House had to deal with the cane and the doors, then the elevator doors closed behind him, he hit the button for their floor, and he leaned into the corner with a grin.

"Do you want me to make some popcorn when we get in while you call it up?' he asked Nyx.

He was certain House was dying for a bit of time alone with Nyx.
