Hex - Hospital
After Eliot left, Nyx mostly slept. It was really all he could do. Even with the painkillers, he ached all over. He knew he'd heal, and fast, but right now it was all misery. It didn't help that they had him on iron, making his magic sluggish. He wasn't with it enough to make up some lie about being allergic or whatever he had to say to get off it.
He wasn't sure what time it was when the lights came back on, another nurse coming through to check his vitals. Morning, maybe? He knew they'd kicked Eliot out last night, since it was already well past visiting hours when he'd been brought in, but he had no idea how long he'd been here.
His phone had been chiming all night, but a nurse had plugged it in to charge across the room, encouraging him to rest.

"Horrible patient, oh my god," Hex chuckled, typing in the special instructions and a few $$$.

"Mmm, it'll be fine. I'll be fine," Nyx assured him. "I'm tough, I just need this iron out of my system."

"I can pump you full of fluids," Hex snorted like a twelve year old, busily typing the special instructions in and completing the order.

"You could," Nyx agreed with a purr, even though he knew he was in no fit state.

Hex dissolved into snickering giggles as he hit send. Then he turned to kiss Nyx.
"I'm gonna go get you some water," he said. "Fluids you can handle."

Nyx returned the kiss, pretending to pout. "I'm not allowed any fun. That's the last time they get me in a hospital."

"I certainly hope so!" Hex called as he left the room.
He was back shortly with several options to drink, two bottles being flat water.
"The curry should be here soon, too," he told him.

"You're the best, Hex," Nyx said, cracking open a bottle of water. "I mean it. I don't know what I'd do without you."

"Be bored, probably," he replied with a warm smile.
"What now? Telly? Games? I could rub your feet...they aren't hurt, right?" he offered, perfectly happy to wait on him and entertain.

Nyx drank deep, then wet his lips. "You could take off your shirt. Give me a kiss," Nyx suggested with a little purr

"Oh yeah? You think that's the therapy you need?" Hex asked.
Then immediately pulled his shirt off, giving Nyx a good show as he did.

Nyx grinned, holding the bottle with two hands as he looked Hex over.
"I'd love to know how I got so lucky. ...Other than the whole getting hit by a car thing."

Hex had no answer so he simply shrugged before crawling on top of Nyx to kiss him all the way down to the pillow.

Nyx laughed, nearly dropping the bottle, then putting it aside to return the kiss as best he could. He winced when Hex moved a bit, letting out a quiet gasp of pain. It didn't seem to bother him too much though as he kissed him again.
"You're so good to me."
But Nyx couldn't help but wonder what of worth he had to offer Hex. Couldn't help but wonder why he stuck around.

"I like being good to you," he said, nuzzling into Nyx's neck for a moment before giving him his space.

"Sometimes I think you're too good to me. I don't deserve it," Nyx said quietly.

Hex lifted up enough to look at him.
He looked...baffled.
"Love isn't a deserve sort of thing, Nyx," he told him.

"Everything is earned," Nyx replied. "It has to be balanced, or it all falls apart."

Hex was silent for a long moment, his eyes inquisitive and thoughtful.
Abruptly, he lunged in and licked Nyx, jaw to cheekbone. He might not think Nyx needed to do anything, but the wolf was aware.
Aware enough to make him lick Nyx and then look utterly shocked at his own behaviour.

Nyx also looked shocked.
"Um..."

Hex blinked a few times and seemed to come back to his senses.
"I...think we're balanced," he said, reaching up to wipe Nyx's cheek dry.
"Normally when that happens, I come round with blood on me..." he admitted quietly. "It really loves you, yeah? The wolf? I can tell."

Nyx offered a soft smile, then sat up to kiss Hex properly.

Hex smiled before melting into it, gently falling to the bed and kissing Nyx deeply.

"I wish I wasn't so tired," Nyx complained between kisses.

"You're tired because you're healing," Hex told him. "It takes a toll on you. Snuggle up, we can have a rest."
