Even as he did, he always kept one hand on Nyx, touching him gently.

"Or we could just get a burger or something, I'm easy. ...Whatever you like."

"don't rush. We still have time. I'll call the uber..." he chatted from under the water as Nyx dried off.

Curiosity got the best of him, and he found himself peeking in a cupboard or two, before finishing his water and sitting on the edge of the bed to wait for Hex.

A part of him had assumed he'd leave.
"Would you like me to stay the night?" he asked, beginning to dress. "Only fair, yeah? You got to enjoy me luxe mattress."

Once he'd pulled his trousers up, he simply picked up the leather and mesh and oved to pull Nyx into his arms.
"I really would," he said softly. "Let's go get the car."
