"...Well mannered," he settled on. "I can't imagine you in a relationship with someone prone to dramatics. So what happened? Did you have an argument?"

"He's had a troubled past. He'd forgotten parts of it. Some fae tolf that it is magic that wiped his memory," Hannibal provided.

"So it's not you he's upset with at least," Nyx replied. "Vampires aren't known for their magic."

"He has a flare for the dramatic. I told him not to dwell. That didn't go down well," Hannibal admitted. "Come sit on my lap."

"Happily," Nyx purred, moving to join Hannibal on the vampire's lap.

"He'll come around," he soothed, even though he had no way of knowing if that was true. "Who could stay away from you, hm?" he added with a grin.

"He, quite evidently," Hannibal replied as his hands snuck underneath Nyx' shirt. He did enjoy a beauty in a good suit. "He has not only stopped working for me, he hasn't been in my bed since that night."

"I'm sorry," Nyx said sincerely, since he had no reason to believe Hannibal had done anything to deserve such treatment.

He purred as Hannibal caressed him beneath his shirt, shifting to get a little closer. "Tell me what you want. Tell me how to make it better," he offered, letting his magic flow a bit.

Hannibal smiled for the first time tonight, much like a cat toying with a mouse. "Let me bite you," he said, and unsheathed his fangs. "Let me bring you some pleasure, then get on your knees and bring me some pleasure."

Nyx admired the fangs for a moment, before lifting his gaze to meet Hannibal's.
